1. We Were Liars by E, Lockhart!

I don't want to say too much about this book, but it is

a perfect mystery read for the summer.

2. The Summer I Turned Pretty Series by Jenny Han

This is one of my favorite series! They are the perfect 

beachy read. I highly recommend it!

3. The Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan 

The Percy Jackson series is perfect for the summer! 

Demigods being badass? That's all you need!

4. Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson

I am currently reading this book. I've been super excited

to read this book for so long and now I finally 

get the chance to!

5. To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han 

I have not read this book yet, but, I loved what 

I have read of Jenny Han and cannot wait to dive in! I think

it will be a good summer read.

6. Of Poseidon by Anna Banks 

It's a book about mermaids! Is that not summer or what?!

7. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

(you know Colleen Hoover was going to be on this list!) 

When someone asks me what my favorite book is this is what I say!

This is an amazing book that comes with its own soundtrack. 

Reading and music? Sounds like summer to me :)

8. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins 

This book is full of cuteness and lots of humor! It's the perfect

light read for those trips to the beach. 

9. Mind Games by Kiersten White

I love this book! It has such a different concept. 

You will fly through this book!

10. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I started this book in the middle of my school semester

and had to stop because I got busy, but I am so excited to 

start reading it again! It is definitely a book I can't wait to finish this summer!

I got this book off of a recommendation from tumblr. The title and the cover intrigued me and the tumblr user said it was one of her favorite books so I had to check it out.

This book was amazing. I loved being in Parkers head. Things in life aren’t always so pretty and we see that in this book. It’s real and raw. It was interesting seeing Parkers point of view. When it came time for her to meet Everett I was so nervous! I really enjoyed the way the whole meet up happened. When we found out about Everett I thought this book was going to destroy me. (read it to find out if it did *wink*)

I feel like the book teaches you a lot. It teaches you that bad things can and do happen in life but those moments do not have to take over your life. In the words of Everett “It’s good to feel.” Sometimes you have to fight, and Parker and Everett did just that. 

By the end of the book Parker has had so much character development. I love how Everett came into her life and forced her to feel and think about things and really see herself. I really recommend this book for anyone, so go pick it up and get to reading!

 This book was amazing! It had so many funny parts, social references, heartbreak, and sexy times. I just love Jennifer L Armentrout. She is amazing. 

I have never been a huge fan of the fae but I absolutely loved this book! It had twist and turns and made gasp out loud at some parts. 

Our main character is Ivy and I really loved getting to know her. She is so strong, brave, and sarcastic and just all around kickass! There are something’s that she has to deal with though. The character development we see in her was great. She has a little friend named Tink that is like the biggest fanboy ever and it is amazing. One of my favorite lines from him: “You gave Tink a scarf. Tink is free!”

Can we just talk about Ren for a second here?

No but really, Ren is also a great character. He has to deal with something and I believe it helped him and Ivy to bond. I loved hoe their relationship played out through the book. The effect he had on Ivy was something great to see.

By the end of the book I was like:

 All in all I really loved this book and think you should really read it too because you will love it and fall in love with the characters, and the funny (literally so funny!), and the sexy time is so sweet and *sighs* just go read it okay…please?
