Maybe Not by Colleen Hoover

Colleen Hoover, the New York Times bestselling author of Maybe Someday brilliantly brings to life the story of the wonderfully hilarious and charismatic Warren in a new novella, Maybe Not.

When Warren has the opportunity to live with a female roommate, he instantly agrees. It could be an exciting change.

Or maybe not.

Especially when that roommate is the cold and seemingly calculating Bridgette. Tensions run high and tempers flare as the two can hardly stand to be in the same room together. But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to love with that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory.

Will Bridgette find it in herself to warm her heart to Warren and finally learn to love?

Maybe.

Maybe not

Maybe Not is a novella that goes with my absolute favorite book Maybe Someday. So if you have not read Maybe Someday you should read it before Maybe Not (also there is an amazing soundtrack that goes along with Maybe Someday, how cool is that?!).

This was my first read of 2015 and I really enjoyed it! It is an easy, quick, fun read. I loved how we figured out some things went down in Maybe Someday. Like the reason Warren watches so much porn, and who actually played that first prank on Sydney. It was so interesting seeing both Warren and Bridgette in their own story rather than seeing them as side characters in another. We also get find out why Bridgette is the way she is. There is one scene where she is interacting with a little boy and it really showed a different side of Bridgette.

We also got to see more of Warren’s personality and I really loved it. I loved how he showed Bridgette that he cared about her and how she deserved to be loved. This book was sooo funny had a lot of “awwww” moments that I really enjoyed. I love Hoovers sense of humor. And of course there are sexy times because come on, it’s Warren.
Colleen Hoover really knows how to make the good times good, the bad times bad, and the sexy times sexy.

This is definitely a lighter read for Colleen Hoover and of course I recommend it.

I give this book 4 stars.
